How do I sign up for Ring Revenue to promote Pay Per Call offers?
To use Ring Revenue, first log into your Offer Mobi affiliate center and
click on "Request Offers" on the blue toolbar at the top right underneath
the Offer Mobi header. Upon clicking that link, you will see a page where
all current campaigns available for you to run appear.
For Pay Per Call offers, scroll all the way to the bottom of that page
where you will see campaigns with the prefix of "Pay Per Call"
If you hover your cursor over the description (middle column) at the
very bottom is a link to sign up with Ring Revenue:
http://offermobi.ringrevenue.com/signup?stype=affiliate
Copy and paste that link into your browser window.
When you arrive at the Ring Revenue signup page, do the
following:
Enter the same information you used when signing up with
OfferMobi.com
For "Company Name", enter the same information you supplied
when signing up with Offer Mobi, whether that is your own name
or a company name. Under "Affiliate ID" enter your Offer Mobi
affiliate ID.
Make sure when entering your phone number to enter one you
can answer right away as Ring Revenue will call your phone to
verify your account.
After filling out your information and clicking "Sign Up" on the
very next screen you should see a button that says something
like "Call My Phone". Click that button and RR will call to verify
your account.
It usually takes us 24-48 hours to approve your Ring Revenue
account on our end.
Next, find the PPCall offer you want to promote in your Offer
Mobi affiliate account, request the offer by clicking the "Request
Offers" link, click the 'Request Offer' button. After clicking
the button, the offer should now appear under your "My Offers" link.
Log back into your Ring Revenue account and fill out your complete
profile by clicking on the "Account" link at the top right of your
affiliate account. Fill in your 'General Promotional Methods' your
'Website URLs' and any info you wish to include under 'Profile URLs'
To generate phone numbers to use in your campaign, click on the button
that reads "Find New Campaigns" Find the campaign that matches the
offer you requested in Offer Mobi, click "View" Next, scroll
down, read the application and agreement to terms, check the
two boxes and click "Apply to Campaign"
After you are approved for the campaign in Ring Revenue,
click on "Campaigns" at the top right of your RR Affiliate

for in the "Merchant Campaigns" list, look to the far right
under "Manage Campaigns" where you will see a link that
reads "Numbers"
Click "Numbers" which brings you to a screen reading
"Add Promo Numbers" Select your 'media type' (offline,
tv, etc.) and a promo description, then click on "Save"
You can test the number by calling it to verify.
The process really sounds more daunting than it really
is once you go through the signup process. We have to
have you go through these steps to prevent affiliate fraud
and the longest part is what you just went through to signup.

Network X says I paid for 1000 clicks...why do I only see 100 in Offermobi?
Clicks are filtered by country IP and by duplicate clicks.
1. Mobile ad networks record ALL clicks whereas your affiliate account records UNIQUE clicks.
2. You may have received clicks on your campaign that were out of country for the offer. For example, if the offer states ‘US Only’ and you receive clicks from South America or Europe, those clicks will not be reflected in your affiliate account reporting.
-
Do the clicks / conversions take time to update?
Depending on server load, your reporting may take up to an offer to synchronize with mobile ad network reporting.
For Pay per Call campaigns your statistics are located in the Ring Revenue interface (http://offermobi.ringrevenue.com/signup?stype=affiliate), and not reported in the standard OfferMobi interface.
-
What do the letters stand for in my “Reporting”? (I, C, Q, A)
What do the letters stand for in my “Reporting”? (I, C, Q, A)
(I) stands for Impressions and you usually will not see any
numbers listed here because we do not serve impressions,
mobile ad networks serve impressions.
(C) stands for Clicks, which means an end user saw your
ad and clicked on the ad
(Q) stands for Qualified traffic, which means the advertiser
verifies all traffic sent for quality
(A) stands for Actions, which means an end user saw your
ad, clicked on your ad, and completed the offer, resulting in
a conversion for which you receive a commission
-
Highlighted values are outside industry norms
When you look at your reporting in OfferMobi, you may notice the word "Warning" highlighted in yellow at the top right. It says that highlighted values are outside industry norms. If nothing in your report is highlighted (other than the warning), you have nothing to worry about.
However, if your conversion rates, for example, are highlighted in yellow, it means that you are getting a higher-than-normal conversion rate. This can happen for two main reasons.
1 - You're running a very successful campaign, have optimized it, and are possibly using a pre-sell page.
2 - There is fraud going on.
As we review data in the network, we may contact you regarding out-of-the-ordinary conversion rates and other values that are not within industry norms.
-
What is the difference between CLICKS and LEADS?
Clicks are when someone sees your ad on a publisher site and clicks on it.
They are taken to the advertiser page and are tracked to you.
Ad networks charge you for clicks.
Leads are when the user who clicked on the ad fills out the form.
This is considered a conversion. Advertisers pay on conversions, not on clicks.

**UPDATE**
You are now able to update your tax documents inside your OfferMobi account.
Please follow the steps detailed under the question,
"How do I send you my tax forms?"
-
What are your payment terms?
Our payment terms are Net 30 from the end of the month in which you accrue at least $50 (for US affiliates) or $100 (for international affiliates).
Example (Aff reaches threshold): Sales made in June would be paid out on or about August 1st.
2nd Example (Aff does not reach threshold): If you accrue $40 in August and accrue another $10 in September and you are a US affiliate, your payment would be released on or about the 1st of November. Your August and September earnings pushed you over the $50 Minimum.
-
Can I get better payment terms?
Payment terms and commission payouts are based on merit.
We evaluate many factors including quality of traffic,
volume and past history with the affiliate when making
decisions on granting affiliates different terms than
what is in the Affiliate Agreement.
If you are a new affiliate, we recommend that you work on
optimizing and increasing your traffic until you are able to
reach the levels of sales that would warrant us to evaluate
you for accelerated payments.
-
I have earned commissions from offers that are now dead/paused. Will I still receive payments from these offers?
Yes, commissions earned do not go away, even if the campaign is now dead or paused, and you will be paid for it. However, there will be no conversions or commissions earned anymore after the campaign is dead/paused. If you were not able to reach the threshold for a specific month ($50 for U.S. affiliates, $100 for international affiliates), your commissions will be carried over in the succeeding months until you reach the threshold for payout.
Should you have any comments or additional questions, feel free to respond to this ticket.
Thanks so much and have a nice day!
-
The commissions I earned from the old system is missing and doesn't display in the new system. Help!

Tracking & Optimization

IMPORTANT: Tracking Worksheet (PDF DOWNLOAD)
-
How do I know if my clicks are tracking properly?
You can test your affiliate links before rolling out a campaign by using a SUB ID
To use a SUB ID, insert a unique identifier after &SID= in your affiliate link
For example, you could use OMTest for Offermobi or AdM for AdMob
After visiting your link with the SUB ID inserted, click on ‘Reporting’ in your affiliate account and “SUB ID Breakout”, select “With Traffic” from the drop down menu, and click the ‘Generate Report’ button. You should see the SUB ID listed in your reports, verifying your link is tracking properly.
EXAMPLE: http://www.mobitracking.com/click.track?CID=137583&AFID=125489&ADID=382161&SID=OfferMobiTest1

How can I improve my campaign? (Help! I got 1000 clicks and no conversions!)
1. Keep in mind if you are using AdMob exclusively, many other affiliates are probably using the same mobile ad network and direct linking to the campaign. What that means is an end user may have already seen the offer from another affiliate, so if they click on your ad and see the same page they already visited, they are a lot less likely to complete the offer again if they completed the offer the first time.
2. Run for 200 clicks and check conversions. 200 clicks is a nice number because it shows you conversions as low as .50%. Of course, what we're looking for is conversions that are high enough that whatever you're paying per click is less than your EPC, or earnings per click.
So okay...let's back up. Here's how it works.
You pay for clicks.
You get a certain conversion rate.
Your conversions divided by your clicks is your conversion rate.
Your commissions (conversions x what the offer pays you) divided by clicks = EPC
So say your EPC is .10
You don't want to pay more than .09 per click.
And you make a penny a click.
The idea is to find the best combination - lots of traffic at a price point that's below your EPC. This means testing. Lots of it.
Already, you can tell how a campaign is doing in the first 200 clicks.
Say the lowest CPC (cost per click) you can get is .05. Then you know that for an offer that pays out $1.50, 1 in 30 must convert for you to break even. 1/30 = 3.33% conversion rate.
For 200 clicks, that's 6-7 conversions.
So next we need to look at how to increase the conversion rate.
The traffic you sent was not ideal. So how do you fix it?
1. Try different demographics. Maybe the offer works better for certain age groups? Males or females? A different channel or category on the ad network?
2. Maybe it works better with different publishers. Try different ad networks, different channels...and again, different demographics targeting to achieve this.
A really great tool I like to use is Tracking202. When set up properly, it allows you to see where your clicks and conversions are coming from.
So, say you used tracking202 when running those 1000 clicks. You may have discovered that the conversions came from one or two publishers...and that those publishers are part of a specific channel on the ad network. You could shut off all non-converting traffic and focus only on the converting traffic.
T202 is free. A bit confusing when you start using it, but it works.
-
How do I track my campaigns by advertising source?
You can use a SUB ID for tracking
To use a SUB ID, insert a unique identifier after &SID= in your affiliate link
For example, http://www.mobitracking.com/click.track?CID=123456&AFID=123456&SID=OMTest1
To track SUB IDs
1. Log into your affiliate account
2. Click on “Reporting”
3. Click on “SUB ID Breakout”
4. Select the date range you want to view
5. Select “With Traffic” from the drop down menu
6. Click ‘Generate Report’
-
How does tracking work? Do creatives need to match the links?
Your tracking link contains the following variables:
CID = campaign ID. This tells us which campaign you are running. For instance, the "Make Money From Home" offer has one campaign ID, while the "Mozook UAE" offer has a different one.
AFID = your affiliate ID. This tells us who you are, so that when you get clicks and conversions we can track it to you.
ADID = the creative ID. This tells us which creative you used for a particular click or conversion.
SID = subID. This is a tracking variable that may be added by you, or by another program (like Tracking202).
AffiliateReferenceID = A special code just for you to use for tracking.
Any tracking link you use should have the CID and AFID variables. Other variables are not required, except in specific cases.
Most offers do not require you to match the creative and the tracking link.
This means that, usually, you can generate your own tracking links without worrying about
the ADID.
The only two times you would want to match ADIDs are:
a) when you are specifically testing how different creatives or banner sizes convert
b) when the campaign specifically requests it in the description / restrictions on the creatives page.
The sames goes for SID and AffiliateReferenceID.
Use SID when the tracking program you are using (such as Tracking202) requires it (in the case of T202, it would be left blank - "&SID=")
Or use it the same way you would use AffiliateReferenceID; to help you track and test different variables.
These variables may include:
a) the ad network you are using (e.g., admob, inmobi, etc.)
b) the channel you are targeting (e.g., communities, portals, etc.)
c) the text ad or banner you are using (this may also be tracked using ADID)
d) the demographics you are targeting (for instance, males, females, age groups, etc.)
e) anything else that is different from one ad placement to the other.
Here is an example of a link where the campaign ID is 12345, the affiliate's ID is 54321, and we are tracking a specific ad on admob that is targeting women ages 18-34:
www.mobitracking.com/click.track?CID=12345&AFID=54321&AffiliateReferenceID=AdmobWomenonlyAge18_34
Finally, please note that if you are using a program like Tracking202, your link will need to end with &SID=.
So if you were to use the link above in Tracking202, it would look like this:
www.mobitracking.com/click.track?CID=12345&AFID=54321&AffiliateReferenceID=AdmobWomenonlyAge18_34&SID=
-
How many clicks does it take to test an offer?
We suggest that you test 500-1000 clicks to see if there are conversions for a specific ad (on a specific ad network / channel) and then move on to another offer and / or another ad network OR targeting selection.
Note: You can test an offer with 200-300 clicks BUT it is not much data to go on . . .
-
I'm having trouble tracking conversions with Tracking202. What to do?
Because of the way tracking works on mobile phones, it is currently not possible to place a pixel and auto-update the SubIDs in Tracking202. So instead, it is necessary to periodically upload the SubIDs manually.
To do this, go to your reporting tab in Offermobi and then click on "SubID Breakout." Once you set the parameters (date range) and generate the report, click on 'Export'.
Download the SubIDBreakout.CSV file. Open it with Excel, and then go to data, filter, autofilter. Click on the little arrows in the column titled 'A' (approved conversions) and select the number 1.
This will remove rows that do not have approved conversions.
Copy the remaining SubIDs and paste them into Tracking202's 'Update Subids'.
This will allow you to see conversions.
-
How do I Add tracking to my affiliate links?
You can add subid tracking parameters to your offermobi affiliate to help you track what's converting.
The tracking parameters you add is dependent upon where you are buying traffic from.
As each Source of traffic has different tracking parameters to use. To see some examples on how to properly create a tracking link.

Can I promote offers from your network even if I do not live in the same country as the offer?
Yes. You can promote an offer in a country other than your home country by using a mobile ad network and targeting by the country specified by the offer.
In fact, here’s a great resource on mobile ad networks you can use:
http://www.webdeveloperjuice.com/2010/08/24/25-classy-mobile-ad-networks-for-your-mobile-site/
-
What does “no incent” mean?
No Incent means you are not allowed to send incentivized traffic to the offer. Incentivized traffic means visitors who have received some form of compensation for visiting a site. It can also mean that you cannot offer them a larger “prize” or premium, such as an iPod or a laptop computer for filling out the form. Some offers do allow this, most will screen out incentivized traffic very quickly. If you run incentivized traffic to an offer that does not allow this, your commissions will be forfeited and you may be suspended from the network.
-
Are all campaigns Country specific or can I run a campaign in any country I wish?
Certain offers are restricted to certain countries. If the offer name specifies a certain country, for example: Mobile WAP - FunSpire Mobile Wallpaper Club – IT – The offer is restricted to Italy only as designated by the “IT” country code. Always check the specific restrictions on all campaigns.
-
Where can I advertise your offers? What ad networks can I use?
You may advertise our offers by:

2. Create your own mobile optimized content site and advertising our offers on your site. To create your own mobile optimized content site, we do not provide training to do this but you can use either a Wordpress site with mobile plugins or use a mobile site builder.
3. Through your own SMS list that you have cultivated and control. All SMS affiliates must get approval for running SMS based campaigns. Please send message to affiliatemanager@offermobi.com with the subject "SMS LIST" and we will be in touch with you.
-
How do I pick a good offer?
We frequently announce campaigns our affiliates are experiencing success with in our newsletter and via our webinars. You also have to do research on niches that the campaign is targeted to. This will be the first step in picking the right offers for YOU to promote. Not every offer responds the same for every affiliate due to the innumerable amount of traffic and promotional combinations. There is no guarantee that any offer will perform on any given day, but the affiliates who research and test, usually, but not always can make their efforts pay off. The question really is, how do you pick the good offers for you.
-
How can I see the offer if I'm in a different country / not on a mobile phone / not on the right mobile phone?
You may use our mobile preview tool: http://preview.offermobi.com
Make sure you select the correct country proxy matching the offer restriction.
-
How do I download banners to use on a mobile ad network?
1. Log into your affiliate account
2. Make sure you requested and were already approved for the offer (you will know this because the offer will appear in your “My Offers” page)
3. Find the offer you want to promote and click the ‘Creatives’ button on the far right side of the page
4. Find the banner size you want to use and left click the banner image (which should bring up a pop up window)
5. Right click the banner image in the pop up window and click ‘Save As’ and save to your computer
6. Upload the banner during campaign creation on the mobile ad network you are using
-
Can I create my own banners and mobile landing pages?
Yes. In fact, our more successful affiliates often create pre-sell pages. However, due to advertiser restrictions, you must check with us first. Send us a copy of any creatives or pages you plan to use and be sure to receive an approval before using them.
-
How do I place offer X on ad network A?
1. Go to 'My Offers' and click on the 'Creatives' button for the offer you want to promote.
2. Read through the description and ensure you follow all the instructions (country / phone / carrier targeting, day parting, etc.)
3. Generate a tracking link. In the SID field, place a string of characters (no spaces) that tells you where you are placing that link.
For instance, SID could be... InMobiCommunities
or... Admob18to34
4. Download all the creatives to your computer by clicking on the creative, and then right-clicking on the image and saving it in a folder.
5. Set up the ad on the ad network. Be sure to target properly. The landing page is your tracking link. Upload the creatives separately.
-
How do I adjust targeting?
Within each campaign creative, there is a description that gives you targeting for that campaign.
It tells you where you can run the offer, which phones you can target, and so on.
Targeting is set within the ad network (i.e., Admob, Inmobi, BuzzCity...).
Be sure to follow all the campaign requirements. If you are not sure how to set certain targeting,
contact the ad network.
-

going forward.
Feature Phones are phones like the Sony Ericson, Samsung, Nokia
& Motorola handsets which a majority of the market
has right now.
You may use our mobile preview tool: http://preview.offermobi.com
and select smart phones or feature phones.
-
What are blocked handsets? Does this mean I have to manually block the handsets myself?
Blocked handsets are handsets which are incapable of viewing the offers or campaigns. When you choose campaigns, try to look at its description for you to be able to know if what phones and networks are its targets and which ones are blocked. You shouldn't need to block anything as long as you CHOOSE what you want to target when setting up your campaign on the mobile ad network. Please follow up with the respective mobile ad networks to find out specifications.
-
How can I request offers in the new system? I can't find any "Request offer" button.
All offers that are available are already in your account and are automatically approved. If they are not in there then the offer is private and not yet available to the public
-
How can I re size a banner/images?

Am I an affiliate? An advertiser? A publisher?
To Offermobi, an advertiser is the person with the landing pages. The company who wants leads or sales.
A publisher is the person who goes out and places ads, brings people to the advertiser's page and gets leads/sales for them.
To an ad mediation network (for example, InMobi), an advertiser is someone who places ads on their site.
A publisher is someone who has a website and can place ads on it for people to click on.
Let's back up to the days before all the affiliates and in-betweens...
The simplest way to think of it is that there is an advertiser who wants leads, and a publisher who can place the advertiser's banner on their site.
Then, add in the ad mediation network. Now, this network goes between the publisher and the advertiser. The advertiser pays the ad network per click, and the network sends their ads out to its publishers.
Next, add in the affiliate. Now, the affiliate works directly with the advertiser, gets them set up on the ad mediation network and takes a cut. To the ad network, the affiliate is an advertiser. To the advertiser, a publisher.
Finally, add in the CPA network, OfferMobi. OfferMobi goes between the affiliate and the advertiser. Now, the advertiser works directly with OfferMobi. OfferMobi gives its ads to the affiliate (our publisher). The affiliate goes out and works with the ad mediation network as an advertiser for them...
-
I’m a non-US resident. What should I place in the “TAX ID/VAT or SNN” field on the application form?
For international affiliates, you can put "N/A" in the tax field. Just make sure you submit your tax paperwork to us upon registration.
On how to fill out your tax forms, please go to “Payments” category in the FAQ page and click “How do I send you my tax forms?”.
-
What is "PIN " or "No PIN needed"?
By "PIN" submit, it means that the person has to respond by texting a PIN to be able to complete the offer. While "No PIN needed" means that a
person doesn't need to input or respond with a PIN for them to complete the offer.
-
Use of Text link
Unless specifically stated in the creatives of a campaign, it is NOT necessary to match the ADID with the specific banner link.
-
Does OfferMobi have an affiliate program?
OfferMobi does not have a public affiliate program.
Please contact your affiliate manager if you plan on sending a large number of new affiliates our way.
-
